Has it been a while since you dived?
Book an idiveteam scuba refresher and get back in the water
What is a scuba refresher?
If you haven't dived for a while then it's really important that you refresh your skills before you get in the water. Not only does it make sure that you know how to dive safely, it also makes you more confident and comfortable in the water.
We brush up on dive theory and then have a session in the confines of our lovely heated pool. We go through the skills that you learned on your PADI Open Water Course and make sure that you have mastery of these skills and are comfortable by the end of the dive.
What study do I need to do?
You can re-visit your PADI Open Water Course manual before you dive with us which will help develop your knowledge to enable you to answer the quizzes or you can purchase a tune up book from us or use your PADI on line eLearning manual and dive tables to make sure you are up to speed.
How much does the tune up cost?
An idiveteam scuba tune up is great value - you can book an 1 to 1 instructor training in a private pool for up to an hour in the pool for just £79.00 per person. This includes all of your equipment but feel free to bring your own kit if you would like to use it.
What happens if I don't do a tune up?
Every reputable dive centre should ask to see your log book before you dive. This checks that you have dived recently so they know you will be comfortable in the water. When they see that we have stamped your log book you are good to go. If you haven't dived for a while (usually a year) they will most probably get you to do a Refresher dive or PADI ReAcivate with them before you are allowed to join them on a dive. So much better to get it done with idiveteam before you head on holiday.
